This piece was a flat-shaded fullbody commission for an Instagram user of their character Meili - an East Asian elf used in a DnD campaign. They gave me a set pose they wanted me to work with, stating they wanted a graceful, soft feeling throughout the piece. I toned the color hues towards a soft pink, to help her fair skin and blue accents pop more. I also added an overlay of flower petals over the full image in order to give the piece some more texture.
